Your friendly neighborhood drum teacher was part of the teaching staff of “Jazz From the Start”. This jazz camp is sponsored by the White Rock Traditional Jazz Society. The program is headed by Bonnie Northgraves and organised by Dave Roper. The kids were fabulous. We had three days of classes and a final recital. It’s amazing what they can learn in three days. Thanks to the WRTJS for having me along as an instructor.
